Strategic Sales LeadershipFormulate and execute high-impact sales strategies aimed at achieving revenue, growth, and market dominance across key product categories and business segments.
Lead collaboration with internal units and cross-functional leaders to align resources, capabilities, and efforts for optimal business outcomes.
Provide mentorship and strategic guidance to inspire and drive teams toward exceeding business targets.
Continuously assess market dynamics, customer insights, and competitive landscapes to refine and adapt strategies for sustained growth.
Establish clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics, ensuring that the sales team is consistently aligned with corporate goals, driving measurable results across all performance periods.
Identify and capitalise on emerging business opportunities, partnerships, and untapped customer segments to fuel organizational expansion.
Partner closely with marketing to enhance brand positioning, drive lead generation, and cultivate lasting customer relationships.
Lead the day-to-day operations with a focus on optimising business processes, ensuring seamless coordination of warehouse, distribution, and inventory management functions to maximize operational efficiency.
Champion process improvements and innovative solutions that enhance cost-effectiveness, streamline workflows, and elevate the overall operational performance of the organization.
Ensure compliance with both industry regulations and internal company policies, while continuously setting new benchmarks for best practices and operational excellence.
Oversee the management of the supply chain and inventory systems, maintaining rigorous control to ensure smooth, uninterrupted business operations.
Foster a customer-first culture, ensuring superior service levels that drive customer satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term business relationships.
Lead the after-sales service team in delivering exceptional maintenance, repair, and warranty solutions, reinforcing the company's commitment to quality and customer care.
Work collaboratively with technical teams to resolve complex customer issues and ensure swift, proactive support.
Drive a culture of high performance by providing strategic leadership, coaching, and development opportunities for both sales and operations teams.
Establish and communicate clear expectations, performance metrics, and incentives that align team efforts with organisational goals.
Implement targeted training programs and initiatives to elevate skill sets, enhance leadership capabilities, and prepare the workforce for future challenges.
Coordinate cross-functional efforts, leveraging internal resources and expertise to achieve collective business objectives.
Lead the development and execution of financial strategies, ensuring the alignment of operational budgets with organisational goals to maximize profitability and business growth.
Conduct rigorous financial analysis, identifying opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and optimising resource allocation.
Provide insightful, data-driven reports to senior management, enabling informed decision-making around sales performance, operational efficiency, and financial health.
Maintain discretion and safeguard company information, upholding the organisation's interests at all times.
Proactively identify business challenges, risks, and areas for improvement, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
Take ownership of any additional strategic initiatives or cross-departmental responsibilities assigned by senior leadership.
- Minimum 10 years in industrial sales operations and key leadership role overseeing business operations or high-performing sales team.
- Industrial sales background and familiarity with steel manufacturing, warehousing solutions or industrial-related products is highly preferred.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, analyse P & L statements and optimise operational costs.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
Familiar with Business Plan execution and sales strategies implementation. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and manage client relationships tactfully.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to translate long-term goals into actionable plans and results.
- Experience in creating sales strategies and excellent problem-solving skills.
