Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the finance and accounting operations of ENGIE Services Malaysia Sdn Bhd and 1 to 2 smaller entities, with the assistance of a Finance Executive.
- Responsible for month-end closing such as posting/uploading data and updating accounting records on timely basis including journal entries for accrual & prepayment, adjustment entries, fixed assets and depreciation schedule etc.
- Preparing full set of accounts including preparing for monthly financial reports (Local management report & report to Regional Office)
- Responsible for the companies' cashflow - monitoring of payable aging report, receivable aging report and keep track on AR collection, capital expenditure spending and payment milestone.
- Preparation of SST tax return & corporate tax related matters.
- Liaising with Regional SG staff on any queries regarding to the account from time to time. – responsible on company cash flow – Manage queries regarding account.
- Liaising with Bankers for repayment of loan/borrowing and loan covenants.
- Coordinate with all operation staffs and suppliers on the costs/invoices so that all operation costs are recorded timely and correctly.
- Ensure record from other departments are accurate and complete.
- Liaising with internal and external parties (auditors, tax agents, company secretary etc.)
- Handling administrative and any other ad hoc assignments as required by the superior.
Skills & Experience:
- Candidates must possess at least Professional Certificates/Diploma/Advance Diploma/ Degree of Accounting/Finance/Banking or equivalent
- At least 7 years working experience, with 3 years in full sets accounting and 4 years in audit environment (Candidates with less experience may be considered for an Assistant Finance Manager position)
